Here is the cooked and painted sculpt from the previous post. I started with clear gesso and then worked in some light fleshtones with acrylics. Next time I do one of these I think I'll try using doll hair instead of sculpting the hair and see how that works.
While I'm at it, here are a couple other sculpey pieces I recently made as gifts.
This little "Bearhearts" was for my brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Sarah's, wedding, and while doing the research for it I discovered that the term "Bears Kissing" has a very different meaning for some people. Go ahead, google it, you'll see.
This steampunk vampire duo portrait was for my friends Ian and Renee's wedding, which was held this past Halloween.
